1. There were new developments or inventions like the spinning Jenny whuch made weaving faster and similar than handloom weaving .
2. These inventions helped Britain people make a larger finer and faster produce.
3. Due to this British cloths flooded indian markets and 3/4th of country started buying and wearing british cloths
4. As many peoole started buying British goods the weavers and spjnners and other labourers who worked in making of the vloth faced a huge loss.
5. Indians couldn't trade with other countries cause they had to pay huge taxes and due to calico act weavers and spinner were in complete loss and lost their livlihood.
