Formula:


  • Final velocity (v) = Initial velocity (u) + Acceleration (a) * Time (t)

  • Distance (s) = Initial velocity (u) * Time (t) + 0.5 * Acceleration (a) * Time (t)^2



Calculating the acceleration:

Using the first formula, we can calculate the acceleration (a).


  • 20 m/s = 10 m/s + a * t

  • a * t = 20 m/s - 10 m/s

  • a * t = 10 m/s

  • a = 10 m/s / t



Substituting the values in the second formula:

Now, we can substitute the known values in the second formula to find the time (t).


  • 135 m = 10 m/s * t + 0.5 * a * t^2
