There are several flaws in the Indian Education System. I feel kind of bad while writing these things as an Indian. But since I and my classmates have been told that we are the future of India, I feel like criticizing the Indian Education System and making the Education Minister aware of these flaws would help eliminate these defects.
Well, Every school in India focuses on scoring 95% in boards. What profit would it bring even if I score 95% in boards. I mean I won't get any nobel prize for that, would I?
Why can't they understand that being a topper
doesn't
matter. What matters is the talent and knowledge that an individual possesses. Instead of focusing on the marks, Teachers should
encourage
the children to explore new ideas and develop their own.
Personally, I don't like this marks race at all. Parents are no different. They use mobile as a bribe to lure their children to cram things to get good marks. Their dialogue - "If you succeed in getting 80% in board, I will give you an apple phone", irritates me a lot. Thank God my parents are not like them.
The Indian Education system focuses on cramming things

of understanding it. Anyone could become a topper by cramming a few pages. But that
brain would not develop at all. This, in my opinion, is the biggest flaw in our country's education system. There is no practical knowledge here. In an chemistry experiment teachers would tell us that upon mixing this and this we get this and this. But she would somehow forget to demonstrate the so called experiments.
These defects should be worked upon.
