in 2nd the CO and OCH3 are in conjugation so the O bonded to C lossly attract the C-C bond mean the I effect become less effective so the acidic nature get decreased
in 1st one the +I effect of CH3 and more electronegativity of O attract the C-C towards itself nd cause the weakness of C-H bond in CH3 ,so can easily lose H
