The electronegativity of an element refers to its ability to attract electrons towards itself in a chemical bond. Lanthanides have relatively low electronegativity values. As we move from La to Lu, the atomic number increases, and thus, the electronegativity is expected to decrease.

Atomic Volume:
The atomic volume refers to the amount of space occupied by the atoms of an element. In the case of lanthanides, as we move from La to Lu, the atomic number increases, and the atomic radius decreases.
