M1=5N/10 ms−2= 0.5 kg, m2= 5 N/ 20 ms−2=0.25 kg.M1=5N/10 ms−2= 0.5 kg, m2= 5 N/ 20 ms−2=0.25 kg.
Total mass = 0.5 + 0.25 = 0.75 kg. 
Acceleration produced when both masses are tied together = 5 N/ 0.75 kg 
=6.67 ms−26.67 ms−2.
