In each of the following questions two statements are given and these statements are followed by two conclusions numbered (1) and (2). You have to take the given two statements to be true even if they seem to be at variance from commonly known facts. Read the conclusions and then decide which of the given conclusions logically follows from the two given statements, disregarding commonly known facts.

Logical Reasoning: Conclusions from Given Statements

Given Statements:
- Some dogs are bats.
- Some bats are cats.

Conclusion 1: Some dogs are cats.
This conclusion does not logically follow from the given statements because there is no direct connection between dogs and cats. The fact that some dogs are bats and some bats are cats does not necessarily mean that some dogs are cats.

Conclusion 2: Some cats are dogs.
This conclusion also does not logically follow from the given statements for the same reason as Conclusion 1. Just because some bats are cats and some dogs are bats does not mean that there is a connection between cats and dogs.

Therefore, neither Conclusion 1 nor Conclusion 2 follows logically from the given statements. The correct answer is (D) Neither (1) nor (2) follows.
