Which of the following statements regarding arrangement of the word &l...
Ans.

Let's check both the statements one by one:
(i) Two vowels together -  (2!)*(5!) = 2*120 = 240

So we can say that statement (i) is wrong
(ii) Two vowel not together =  Total ways - Vowels together

                                      = (6!) - (2!)*(5!) = 720 - 240 = 480

hence statement (ii) is also incorrect.
