Verified Answer
Two farmers were cultivating wheat on their respective agricultural la...
Let's assume farmer A has ‘x’ hectare land.
Total production of A = 20x
According to the information given to us B will have 'x+15' hectare land.
Total production of B = 30*(x+15)
Given that : Total production of B - Total production of A = 530
 30*(x+15) - 20x = 530                             x = 8
Thus, total production of A = 20*8 = 160

Two farmers were cultivating wheat on their respective agricultural la...
Given, Farmer A's average production = 20 bushels/hectare
Farmer B's average production = 30 bushels/hectare
Let the area of land cultivated by Farmer A be x hectares
Then the area of land cultivated by Farmer B = (x + 15) hectares
Total production of Farmer A = 20x bushels
Total production of Farmer B = 30(x + 15) bushels = 30x + 450 bushels
It is given that Farmer B harvested 530 bushels more than Farmer A
30x + 450 - 20x = 530
10x = 80
x = 8
Therefore, Farmer A cultivated wheat on 8 hectares of land and produced 20x8 = 160 bushels of wheat. Hence, option C is the correct answer.
