It also gave due representation to the members of the Forward Bloc, Hindu Mahasabha and also the Muslim League. Women like Vijayalakshmi Pandit, Sarojini Naidu and Rajkumari Amrit Kaur were prominent members. Dr.Rajendra Prasad was the chairman of the Drafting Committe.
