Name the tissue responsible for movement of our body.a)Muscular tissue...
Muscular tissue is responsible for movement of our body. It is a specialized tissue that is composed of cells called muscle fibers. These muscle fibers have the ability to contract and relax, allowing the body to move.

Muscular tissue is classified into three types:

1. Skeletal Muscle Tissue:
Skeletal muscles are attached to the bones of the skeleton and are responsible for voluntary movements. They are striated in appearance and are under conscious control. Skeletal muscle contraction is responsible for movements such as walking, running, and lifting objects.

2. Smooth Muscle Tissue:
Smooth muscles are found in the walls of organs, blood vessels, and other structures. They are non-striated and under involuntary control. Smooth muscle contractions are responsible for movements such as peristalsis (contractions that push food through the digestive system) and the constriction of blood vessels.

3. Cardiac Muscle Tissue:
Cardiac muscle tissue is found only in the heart. It is striated like skeletal muscle but is under involuntary control. Cardiac muscle contractions are responsible for the rhythmic pumping of blood throughout the body.

Muscle fibers are made up of smaller units called myofibrils, which contain even smaller units called sarcomeres. Sarcomeres are responsible for the contraction and relaxation of muscles. When a muscle contracts, the sarcomeres shorten, causing the muscle fiber to contract as well. This contraction generates force, allowing the muscle to pull on bones and produce movement.

Apart from movement, muscular tissue also plays a role in maintaining posture, generating heat, protecting internal organs, and facilitating the movement of substances within the body (such as blood and lymph).

In conclusion, muscular tissue, specifically skeletal, smooth, and cardiac muscle tissue, is responsible for the movement of our body. It allows us to perform voluntary actions, keeps our organs functioning, and maintains stability and posture.
