In relay we usepimary and secondary protection (backup). in case primary fail to work we use alternate method of back up protection for it. these both are used for the equipment to be protected. we have doubt of cb, cts are all in common to both protection but why we have to select this option as correct., because these all are used to protect equipment ,without equipment there was no need of all these.
