Which one of the following adaptation is not found in fishes?a)Air bla...
Fish have adapted to their environment through the evolution of gills, swim bladders and fins. Gills allow fish to absorb oxygen from the water, swim bladders allow fish to maintain an appropriate level of buoyancy and fins allow the fish to move through the water. Different species exhibit specializations of these features to thrive in their own way.
Fish breathe by drawing water in their mouths and forcing it out of the body via a number of gill slits. The gill slits are rich in blood vessels, enabling the direct absorption of oxygen. While all fish have gills, some fish are also able to extract oxygen from the air via gulping.
Most fish have swim bladders that are permanently sealed, but other fish have swim bladders that can hold varying amounts of air. Salmon have open swim bladders, and they must gulp air at the surface to keep them full. Some fish, such as sharks, lack swim bladders entirely. This causes them to sink if they do not maintain forward motion.
Fish have fins that are adapted to their lifestyle. Some have evolved into long, barbed structures, suitable for defense. Other fish have fins suited for achieving great speed or for walking along the bottom of the ocean.

Adaptations in Fishes
Fish have evolved various adaptations to survive in aquatic environments. Some of these adaptations include:
Air Bladder
Fish have an air bladder that helps them to float on the surface of the water. This adaptation helps them to conserve energy and stay in one place without having to constantly swim.
Fins
Fins are used by fish to swim and maintain balance in the water. Different types of fins have different functions. For example, the dorsal fin helps the fish to maintain stability while swimming, while the pectoral fins are used for steering and stopping.
Streamlined Body
Fish have a streamlined body that helps them to move through the water with minimal resistance. This adaptation allows them to swim faster and more efficiently.
Adaptation Not Found in Fish
Wading Limbs
Wading limbs are not found in fish. Wading limbs are adaptations in animals such as birds and mammals that allow them to walk or stand in water. Fish, on the other hand, have fins and a streamlined body that are specifically adapted for swimming in water. They do not need wading limbs to move in water.

Because the fish swim because the fish has gills and it is a water animal and thanks mam
