Before releasing, kinetic energy is zero, total mechanical energy (stored in the form of Potential energy) = mgh = 5×10×125 = 6250 J

At some instant, when speed is 30 m/s, KE = 1/2 mv^2 = 0.5×5×(30)^2 = 2250 J

As total mechanical energy is conserved, PE at this instant = (6250 – 2250) = 4000 J


Ratio of KE : PE = 2250 : 4000 = 9:16
