So, the probability of any student passing the exam is P(pass) = 0.6
And the probability of any student failing the exam is P(fail) = 0.4

To find the probability that at least one student has passed out of a group of 4 students,
we need to find the probability of the complementary event, i.e., the probability that all 4 students fail.

Probability that all 4 students fail = P(fail) × P(fail) × P(fail) × P(fail) = 0.4^4 = 0.0256

Therefore, the probability that at least one student has passed = 1 - probability that all 4 students fail
= 1 - 0.0256
= 0.9744
