The correct sequence of vapour compression (VC), vapour absorption (VA...
Explanation:
The coefficient of performance (COP) is a measure of the efficiency of a refrigeration cycle. The higher the COP, the more efficient the cycle.

Vapour compression (VC) refrigeration cycle:
In this cycle, a refrigerant is compressed to a high pressure, which increases its temperature. The hot, high-pressure refrigerant then flows through a condenser, where it releases heat to the surroundings and condenses into a liquid. The liquid refrigerant then flows through an expansion valve, where it undergoes a pressure drop and evaporates into a low-pressure vapour. The cold, low-pressure vapour then flows through an evaporator, where it absorbs heat from the surroundings and vaporizes. The cycle then repeats.

Vapour absorption (VA) refrigeration cycle:
In this cycle, a refrigerant is absorbed into a liquid absorbent, which then undergoes a temperature increase and releases the refrigerant in a gaseous state. The gaseous refrigerant then flows through a condenser, where it releases heat to the surroundings and condenses into a liquid.

Steam ejector (SE) refrigeration cycle:
In this cycle, steam is used as the working fluid. The steam is compressed to a high pressure, which increases its temperature. The hot, high-pressure steam then flows through a condenser, where it releases heat to the surroundings and condenses into a liquid. The liquid steam then flows through an expansion valve, where it undergoes a pressure drop and evaporates into a low-pressure vapour. The cold, low-pressure vapour then flows through an evaporator, where it absorbs heat from the surroundings and vaporizes. The cycle then repeats.

The correct sequence of these cycles in increasing order of COP is VA, SE, VC. This is because VA and SE cycles are less efficient than VC cycle due to the lower temperature difference between the hot and cold sides of the cycle. Therefore, VA and SE cycles have a lower COP than VC cycle.
