Verified Answer
The ratio of the length and the breadth of a rectangle is 11 ∶ 3...
Let the length and the breadth be 11x and 3x.
We know that,
Perimeter of rectangle = 2(Length + Breadth)
⇒ Perimeter of rectangle = 420
⇒ 2(11x + 3x) = 420
⇒ 2 × 14x = 420
⇒ 28x = 420
⇒ x = 15
Then, the length = 11x = 165 and the breadth = 3x = 45
Hence, the breadth = 45 cm

Given
l/b =11/3
3l=11b
l=11b/3

perimeter =2(l+b)
420=2(l+b)
l+b=210
(11b/3)+b=210
(11b+3b)/3=210
14b=210×3
b=210*3/14
=45
