Force:

Laws of Motion:
The laws of motion are three fundamental principles that describe the relationship between the motion of an object and the forces acting upon it. These laws were formulated by Sir Isaac Newton in the late 17th century and are still widely used today to understand and analyze the motion of objects.
1. Newton's First Law of Motion (Law of Inertia):
- An object at rest tends to stay at rest, and an object in motion tends to stay in motion with the same velocity, unless acted upon by an external force.
- This law is often summarized as "an object will continue doing what it is currently doing unless acted upon by an external force."
- Inertia is the property of an object to resist changes in its state of motion.
2. Newton's Second Law of Motion:
- The acceleration of an object is directly proportional to the net force acting on it and inversely proportional to its mass.
- Mathematically, the second law is represented as F = ma, where F is the net force, m is the mass of the object, and a is the acceleration produced.
- This law states that the force acting on an object is directly proportional to the rate of change of its momentum.
3. Newton's Third Law of Motion (Law of Action and Reaction):
- For every action, there is an equal and opposite reaction.
- This law states that if an object exerts a force on another object, then the second object exerts an equal and opposite force on the first object.
- The forces always occur in pairs and act on two different objects.
