Kiran can do a piece of work in 9 days and Kumar can do the same work ...
Efficiency of Kiran and Kumar = 11.11 + 5.55 = 16.66%
Work done in 3 days = 3 x 16.66 = 50%

Kiran can do a piece of work in 9 days and Kumar can do the same work ...
Given:
Kiran can do a piece of work in 9 days
Kumar can do the same work in 18 days
Sanjay can complete the same whole work in 3 days

Approach:
Let's assume the total work to be done is 18 units (LCM of 9 and 18)
Kiran can do 2 units of work per day (18/9)
Kumar can do 1 unit of work per day (18/18)
Sanjay can do 6 units of work per day (18/3)

Calculation:
After 3 days of work, Kiran and Kumar together would have completed 6 units of work (3*2+3*1)
Remaining work = 12 units (18-6)
Now, Kiran, Kumar, and Sanjay work together
Total work done by all three in a day = 2+1+6 = 9 units
Total time taken to complete the remaining 12 units of work = 12/9 = 4/3 days

Total time taken = 3 (initial days) + 4/3 (remaining days) = 4 and 1/3 days

Answer: Option (c) 4 days
