When Prashant drives for about 30 minutes with speed of 40kmph, that means he drives 20 km.

If he goes directly to office from his home, we will consider triangle ADE,

By applying triangle inequality property,

1) Difference of two sides < x < sum of two sides.

From the above inequality,

25 - 20 < x < 20 + 25

5 < x < 45

Hence the distance between his office and his home should be in range from 5 to 45.

From the above options, “50” cannot be the distance between his office and his home.

Hence, “50” is the correct answer.
