On October 7, 2019 the External Affairs Minister(EAM) Shri Subrahmanyam Jaishankar inaugurated e-Vidyabharti (tele-education) and e-ArogyaBharti(Tele-Medicine) projects for all the 54 African countries in New Delhi on the 55th anniversary of Indian Technical and Economic Cooperation(ITEC) which is India’s flagship capacity building programme. These are e-learning platforms to ease the delivery of online education. It will serve as a digital bridge between India and Africa. These will be delivered by Telecommunications Consultants India Ltd (TCIL).
