Efficiency of Carnot engine:
The efficiency of a Carnot engine is given by the formula:
Efficiency = (T1 - T2) / T1
Where T1 is the temperature of the hot reservoir and T2 is the temperature of the cold reservoir.

Let T1 = 400 K and T2 = 100 K
0.80 = (400 - 100) / 400
Therefore, T1-T2 = 0.8T1
T2 = 0.2T1
COP of Carnot refrigerator:
The coefficient of performance (COP) of a Carnot refrigerator is given by the formula:
COP = T2 / (T1 - T2)
Where T1 is the temperature of the hot reservoir and T2 is the temperature of the cold reservoir.
Reversing the cycle direction:
When the cycle direction is reversed, the hot and cold reservoirs switch places. Therefore, the new temperatures are T1 = 100 K and T2 = 400 K.
