In a company, the ratio of a number of male to female employees is 2 :...
The ratio of male to female employees in 2:3.
∴ Let the number of male employees in the company be 2x, and the number of female employees be 3x.
∴ Average weight of all employees = Sum of weights of all employees/Number of employees
⇒ W = (total weight of males + total weight of females)/5x
⇒ Total weight of males + total weight of females = 5Wx
Now, Average weight of males = Total weight of males/Number of males
∴ W + 15 = Total weight of males/2x
⇒ Total weight of males = 2x × (W + 15) = 2Wx + 30x
∴ total weight of females = 5Wx – (2Wx + 30x) = 3Wx – 30x
∴ Average weight of females = Total weight of females/number of females
⇒ Average weight of females = (3Wx – 30x)/3x = W – 10
Hence, the average weight of female employees is(W – 10)kgs

In a company, the ratio of a number of male to female employees is 2 :...
Let us assume that the number of male employees is 2x and the number of female employees is 3x.

The total weight of male employees is (2x)(W + 15) = 2Wx + 30x = 2Wx + 30x.
The total weight of female employees is (3x)(W) = 3Wx.

The total weight of all employees is 2Wx + 30x + 3Wx = 5Wx + 30x.

The average weight of all employees is (5Wx + 30x) / (2x + 3x) = (5Wx + 30x) / 5x = W + 6.

Since the average weight of all employees is W, we have: W + 6 = W.
Simplifying this equation, we get: 6 = 0.

This is an invalid equation, which means there is no solution to this problem.
