Answer the following question based on the information given below.
A company Funda Ltd. lays very strong emphasis on trainee development programs because it believes that their top management will come from their trainees only. It has created 3 trainee development programs for this purpose. They are: General Accelerated Program (GAP) in which candidates are selected on the basis of their merit and the company pays for their training, the Normal Non Accelerated Program (NNAP) which is for not so meritorious trainees where, again the company pays for their training and the Candidate Cost Accelerated Program (CCAP) in which candidates who fail to make it to the GAP are given a chance to undergo another special training but the cost of the training is to be borne by the candidate. In addition to the module cost, the company also spends a fixed amount per day per candidate till they reach top management level. The candidates are inducted as trainees and on completion of their entire training become top management.

The circles represent the training modules while the figures inside them represent the cost of the training program in Rs. lakhs. The figures on the lines represent the number of days taken to make the transition from one stage of the training program to the other.

Q. It is known that the total cost of the Normal Non Accelerated Program (NNAP) and the Candidate Cost Accelerated Program (CCAP) in order to reach the top management level is the same. What is the cost that the company spends per candidate per day assuming that the company spends an equal amount on each candidate per day across training programs?
Note: Enter only numerical value.
    Correct answer is '5000'. Can you explain this answer?

    Group QuestionAnswer the following question based on the information g...
    Let the amount that the company spends on each candidate per day be equal to x.
    As the total cost of the NNAP and the CCAP is the same,
    (300 + 210 + 150)x + (200000 + 100000) = (180 + 90 + 150)x + (1400000 + 100000)
    Note that the Rs. 14 lakhs spent on the Candidate Cost Accelerated Program are also counted as they are part of the total cost in this program and the total cost of the two programs is the same. Also, the question does not ask for the total amount spent by the company. It asks for the amount by the company on each candidate per day.
    660x + 300000 = 420x + 1500000
    240x= 1200000
    x = Rs. 5,000
    Answer: 5000

Thecompanys board of directors is very worried about this practice and decides to do something about it. After much discussion they decide to make the candidates who undergo the GAP sign a bond, which binds them to the company for a period of 5 years. In order to leave the company before 5 years the candidate will have to pay a certain amount to the company. The bond amount is so decided that if a candidate leaves the company before completion of 5 years, the cost that company bears for a NNAP candidate and a GAP candidate remains the same. Assume that the company pays no additional money after the candidates reach the top management level. What is the bond amount decided by the company?(Note: Use the data from previous question, if necessary. Enter only numerical value.) Correct answer is '900000'. Can you explain this answer?

    Direction: Read the following passage and answer the following questions.The Manhattan Project was a research and development project that produced the first nuclear weapons during World War II. It was led by the United States with the support of the United Kingdom and Canada. From 1942 to 1946, the project was under the direction of Major General Leslie Groves of the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers; physicist J. Robert Oppenheimer was the director of the Los Alamos National Laboratory that designed the actual bombs. The Army component of the project was designated the Manhattan District; "Manhattan" gradually superseded the official codename, Development of Substitute Materials, for the entire project. Along the way, the project absorbed its earlier British counterpart, Tube Alloys. The Manhattan Project began modestly in 1939, but grew to employ more than 130,000 people and cost nearly US$2 billion (about $26 billion in 2015 dollars). Over 90% of the cost was for building factories and producing the fissile materials, with less than 10% for development and production of the weapons. Research and production took place at more than 30 sites across the United States, the United Kingdom and Canada.Two types of atomic bomb were developed during the war. A relatively simple gun-type fission weapon was made using uranium-235, an isotope that makes up only 0.7 percent of natural uranium. Since it is chemically identical to the most common isotope, uranium-238, and has almost the same mass, it proved difficult to separate. Three methods were employed for uranium enrichment: electromagnetic, gaseous and thermal. Most of this work was performed at Oak Ridge, Tennessee. In parallel with the work on uranium was an effort to produce plutonium. Reactors were constructed at Oak Ridge and Hanford, Washington, in which uranium was irradiated and transmuted into plutonium. The plutonium was then chemically separated from the uranium. The gun-type design proved impractical to use with plutonium so a more complex implosion-type weapon was developed in a concerted design and construction effort at the project's principal research and design laboratory in Los Alamos, New Mexico.The project was also charged with gathering intelligence on the German nuclear weapon project. Through Operation Alsos, Manhattan Project personnel served in Europe, sometimes behind enemy lines, where they gathered nuclear materials and documents, and rounded up German scientists. Despite the Manhattan Project's tight security, Soviet atomic spies still penetrated the program.The first nuclear device ever detonated was an implosion-type bomb at the Trinity test, conducted at New Mexico's Alamogordo Bombing and Gunnery Range on 16 July 1945. Little Boy, a gun-type weapon, and Fat Man, an implosion-type weapon, were used in the atomic bombings of Hiroshima and Nagasaki, respectively. In the immediate postwar years, the Manhattan Project conducted weapons testing at Bikini Atoll as part of Operation Crossroads, developed new weapons, promoted the development of the network of national laboratories, supported medical research into radiology and laid the foundations for the nuclear navy. It maintained control over American atomic weapons research and production until the formation of the United States Atomic Energy Commission in January 1947.The discovery of nuclear fission by German chemists Otto Hahn and Fritz Strassmann in 1938, and its theoretical explanation by Lise Meitner and Otto Frisch, made the development of an atomic bomb a theoretical possibility. There were fears that a German atomic bomb project would develop one first, especially among scientists who were refugees from Nazi Germany and other fascist countries. In August 1939, physicists Leó Szilárd and Eugene Wigner drafted the Einstein - Szilárd letter, which warned of the potential development of "extremely powerful bombs of a new type". It urged the United States to take steps to acquire stockpiles of uranium ore and accelerate the research of Enrico Fermi and others into nuclear chain reactions. They had it signed by Albert Einstein and delivered to President Franklin D. Roosevelt. Roosevelt called on Lyman Briggs of the National Bureau of Standards to head the Advisory Committee on Uranium to investigate the issues raised by the letter. Briggs held a meeting on 21 October 1939, which was attended by Szilárd, Wigner and Edward Teller. The committee reported back to Roosevelt in November that uranium "would provide a possible source of bombs with destructiveness vastly greater than anything now known."Briggs proposed that the National Defense Research Committee (NDRC) spend $167,000 on research into uranium, particularly the uranium-235 isotope, and the recently discovered plutonium. On 28 June 1941, Roosevelt signed Executive Order 8807, which created the Office of Scientific Research and Development (OSRD), with Vannevar Bush as its director. The office was empowered to engage in large engineering projects in addition to research. The NDRC Committee on Uranium became the S-1 Uranium Committee of the OSRD; the word "uranium" was soon dropped for security reasons.In Britain, Otto Frisch and Rudolf Peierls at the University of Birmingham had made a breakthrough investigating the critical mass of uranium-235 in June 1939. Their calculations indicated that it was within an order of magnitude of 10 kilograms (22 l b), which was small enough to be carried by a bomber of the day. Their March 1940 Frisch - Peierls memorandum initiated the British atomic bomb project and its Maud Committee, which unanimously recommended pursuing the development of an atomic bomb. In July 1940, Britain had offered to give the United States access to its scientific research, and the Tizard Mission's John Cockcroft briefed American scientists on British developments. He discovered that the American project was smaller than the British, and not as far advanced.As part of the scientific exchange, the Maud Committee's findings were conveyed to the United States. One of its members, the Australian physicist Mark Oliphant, flew to the United States in late August 1941 and discovered that data provided by the Maud Committee had not reached key American physicists. Oliphant then set out to find out why the committee's findings were apparently being ignored. He met with the Uranium Committee, and visited Berkeley, California, where he spoke persuasively to Ernest O. Lawrence. Lawrence was sufficiently impressed to commence his own research into uranium. He in turn spoke to James B. Conant, Arthur H. Compton and George B. Pegram. Oliphant's mission was therefore a success; key American physicists were now aware of the potential power of an atomic bomb.At a meeting between President Roosevelt, Vannevar Bush, and Vice President Henry A. Wallace on 9 October 1941, the President approved the atomic program. To control it, he created a Top Policy Group consisting of himself - although he never attended a meeting - Wallace, Bush, Conant, Secretary of War Henry L. Stimson, and the Chief of Staff of the Army, General George C. Marshall. Roosevelt chose the Army to run the project rather than the Navy, as the Army had the most experience with management of large-scale construction projects. He also agreed to coordinate the effort with that of the British, and on 11 October he sent a message to Prime Minister Winston Churchill, suggesting that they correspond on atomic matters.Q. According to the author, why APSC should drop their demand for an unconditioned apology from the management?

    Directions: Read the following passage carefully and answer the given question.The system of managing a companys interaction with current and future customers is called Customer Relationship Management or CRM. It makes use of modern technology to organise, automate and synchronise the following four areas; sales, marketing, customer service and technical support.CRM is designed to track and measure marketing campaigns over a variety of networks. These systems can track customer analysis by customer clicks as well as sales. Specifically, these systems are used in call centres, social media, direct mail, data storage files, banks and customer data queries. One unique aspect of this is that it can assist in formulating customer profiles.The goal of these systems is to track customers and their responses, record these responses and store them in databases and then mine this data for information that will improve customer relations. The CRM system codifies the interactions between companies and their customers in order to maximise sales. They make use of analytics and key performance indicators to give users much information on where to focus their marketing and customer service to maximise revenues as well as to decrease idle and unproductive contact with customers. Contact channels such as contact centres make use of CRM software. The software helps to direct customers to the right agent or information channel (such as informational recordings or automated bill payment or appointment scheduling). One key feature of CRM software is that it can be used to identify and reward loyal customers over a period of time, which can enhance customer relationships.One common function that CRM software is used for is to synchronise suitable appointment dates, times and methods for customer contact. Once the appointments are saved in the systems calendar, the information regarding the appointment can be easily retrieved. It can pull up information on specific information and then send an automated message as a reminder to the involved persons.Because of modern technology, the environment often requires businesses to interact with each other via the web. Because of this, The Sweeny Group defines CRM as being all the tools, technologies and procedures that are required to manage, improve or facilitate sales, customer/technical support and all related interactions with customers, prospective customers and business partners throughout the entire venture. Based on this definition, it is assumed that CRM is involved in every business to business transaction.The general concept is that CRM systems were created for customer-centric businesses, but they can also apply to business to business environments. In this sense, they are used to streamline and improve customer management conditions. Both systems (business to customer, business to business) are not created equal and are different in application. This is because relationships between business to business take longer to come to fruition than the business to customer. With this in mind, all softwares used for CRM must be personalised and delivered at individual levels.Q.Which of the following is possibly the most appropriate title for the passage?
