From India, around 96 kite fliers from 18 states and 290 kite fliers from Gujarat participate in this kite festival. This International Kite Festival is to be held at small towns like Dakor, Gandhidham, Jamnagar, Rajkot, Surat, Vadodara, Aravali, Dwarka, Amreli, Palanpur, Pavagadh, Valsad and Saputara also.
