Option a) is a fact
option b) clathrates are those compounds in which molecule of one component are physically trapped within the crystal structure of another
now He and Ne are small in size so they slip out of the cavities , therefore can't form clathrates.
option c)fact
option d) size is directly proportional to polarizability
Therefore all are correct!!

The correct statements area)Solid argon is an example of molecular sol...
Solid argon is an example of a molecular solid. This means that it is composed of discrete molecules held together by weak intermolecular forces. In the case of solid argon, the molecules are made up of individual argon atoms. This is in contrast to other types of solids, such as ionic or metallic solids, which are held together by stronger forces.

The noble gases, including helium (He) and neon (Ne), do not usually form clathrates. Clathrates are compounds in which small molecules are trapped within the crystal lattice of a host molecule. While some noble gases can form clathrates under certain conditions, helium and neon do not typically exhibit this behavior.

Liquid helium is commonly used as a cryogenic liquid. Cryogenic liquids are substances that can be cooled to extremely low temperatures, typically below -150 degrees Celsius. Liquid helium has a boiling point of -268.93 degrees Celsius, which makes it ideal for use in cryogenic applications, such as cooling superconducting materials or conducting low-temperature experiments.

The polarizability of noble gases increases from helium (He) to xenon (Xe). Polarizability refers to the ability of an atom or molecule to deform its electron cloud in the presence of an electric field. Larger atoms or molecules with more electrons are generally more polarizable because they have more electron density to be affected by an electric field. In the case of noble gases, the atomic radius increases from helium to xenon, and so does the number of electrons. As a result, xenon has a higher polarizability compared to helium.
