First we should note one thing that as the positive charge density on the central increases then that metal has low tendency to weakens the bond between C and O.
Now if we see clearly then what we will find that Mn has highest positive charges followed by Cr ,Fe and ends with V as lowest.
So, from this we can conclude that among all the mentioned metals V has highest tendency to donate e to CO (i.e, to weakens the bond between them).
And as we know bond order and bond length is inversely related.
Therefore, option D is correct.
