In the figure, we can see that P, Q, R, S are the mid-point of the sides AB, BC, CD, DA respectively.
∴ PQ & SR will be parallel to AC and PS & QR are parallel to BD;
∴ PQ = SR = ½(AC) and PS = QR = ½(BD)
Since in a rectangle, both the diagonals are always equal i.e. AC = BD;
∴ PQ = SR = PS = QR
 But the angles of the quadrilateral PQRS may not be 90°(As it is inside a rectangle whose adjacent side are not equal)
∴ The quadrilateral PQRS is a Rhombus, but not be a square.
