Group QuestionAnswer the following question based on the information g...
Let there be 1000 flowers in all at 9:00 AM.
Hence, at 9:00 AM, number of sunflowers = 0.4 x 1000 = 400 and number of camellias = 200
Total number of flowers in the shop at 1:00 PM = 1000 x 0.6 x 0.5 = 300 Hence, at 1:00 PM, number of sunflowers = 0.2 x 300 = 60 and number of camellias - 0.3 x 300 - 90
Number of sunflowers sold upto 1:00 PM = 400 - 60 = 340 and number of camellias sold = 200 - 90 = 110
340 = 110 x 3.09 (approx)
Thus, number of sunflowers sold upto 1:00 PM is approximately 3.1 times the number of camellias sold upto 1:00 PM.
Hence, option 4.
