French revolution was the period of far reaching social and political upheaval in France and it's colonies which occurred in 1789and swept away the existing political institutions, overthrew the French monarchy and aimed at establishing an egalitarian (meaning following the principal that everyone should have equal rights)society and responsible government.

On 5th May 1789 Louis XVI call together and assembly of the east journal to pass proposal for new taxes the demand of the third estate for one member one vote was refused. the representative of the third estate viewed themselves as spokesman for the whole French nation declared themselves as national assembly and swore not to despire till they had drafted a constitution for France that would limit the powers of the monarch . A severe winter had made a bad harvest the price of bread rose often bakar exploited the situation and hoared supplies . so on 14 July the agitated crowd stormed and destroy the Bastille . peasants in several district seized and hoes and pitch forks and attached chateur .. they looted hoarded grain and burn down document containing records of monorail duties a large number of Nobel fled from their home many of them migrating to neighbouring country .. on the night of August 4 1789 the assembly passed decrease abolishing the feudal system of obligation band taxes .member of clergy too were forced to give up their privileges . tithes what abolished and band owned by Church work on concificated.
the ideas of liberty and democratic rights were the most important legacy of the French revolution these spread from the France to the rest of Europe during the 19th century there feudal system was abolished by colonised people reworked the idea of freedom from bondage into their movement to create a Soviet national state. Tipu Sultan and Ram Mohan Roy are two examples of individuals who response to the idea coming from revolutionary France
