Business and Commerce are word with similar meaning, but they also differ from one another . Commerce focuses on buying and selling part of a business whereas there is much more to a business than just buying and selling. Business can be an entity , commerce refers to trade and trade- related activities .

I would start with commerce . commerce is an
activity that every Business has to perform. commerce means buying and selling of the goods on a large scale in short.
Business:
A business is an organisation where people work togethers . in a business people work to make and sell products or services.

:) commerce is an abstract idea, while business
is more physical inthe sense that it can be
owned by person. one cannot say that he/she
owns a commerce but can say that he/she owns
a business.
business can be an entity, commerce refers to
trade and trade-related activities.

:). A business hold many activities such as planning,
advertising, buying, selling,marketing,accounting
and supervising, manufacturing etc.
whereas commerce,which mainly focuses on
buying and selling and activities related to
direct buying and selling.for that, commerce
is a subset of business.

Commerce: Commerce is the field of studies that deals with business and its operations.
But,
Business: Business is an economic activity which is carried on for profit earning. Business is done for survival,growth and continuity.

Commerce is a type of business activity which includes all the activities related to trade (buying and selling goods) and it's auxiliaries like communication, banking etc.
