Ten members I, J, K, L, M, N, O, P, Q and R are split into two teams X...
Given information:
- 10 members I, J, K, L, M, N, O, P, Q and R are split into two teams X and Y of 5 members each.
- Members in the two teams are made to sit in two rows facing each other in such a way that one member of team X is sitting exactly opposite of a member in team Y.
- Members of team X are facing North.
- L is third to the right of I and sits exactly opposite of O.
- J sits to the immediate right of O and is facing South.
- P is third to the right of J and is exactly opposite of N.
- K sits between I and M and is opposite of Q.

To find: Who is second to the left of K?

Solution:
- We know that team X is facing North, so team Y must be facing South.
- From the given information, we can create the following table to represent the seating arrangement:

| | Team X | | | | Team Y | |
|-------|--------|-------|-------|-------|--------|-------|
| North | I | J | K | L | M | N |
| South | Q | P | O | R | | |

- We know that L is third to the right of I, so I must be sitting in the leftmost position in Team X.
- Also, L is sitting exactly opposite of O, and J is sitting to the immediate right of O, facing South. So, J must be sitting opposite of L.
- Therefore, J must be sitting in the rightmost position in Team Y and P must be sitting in the leftmost position in Team Y, facing North, as P is exactly opposite of N.
- Now, we know that K is sitting between I and M, so K must be sitting in the second position from the left in Team X, facing North.
- Therefore, the member who is second to the left of K is N, who is sitting in the leftmost position in Team Y, facing South.

Hence, option (a) Nb) is the correct answer.
