Who among the following was not the member of the Constituent Assembly...
Mahatma Gandhi was not a member of the Constituent Assembly, but his vision was followed by the members in drafting the Constitution of India.

Explanation:

The Constituent Assembly was formed in 1946 to draft the Constitution of India. It consisted of 389 members, including representatives from the British government, princely states, and various political parties.

Mahatma Gandhi, the Father of the Nation, was not a member of the Constituent Assembly. However, his vision and ideals were deeply ingrained in the minds of the members, and they tried to incorporate them into the Constitution.

Some of the ideas of Mahatma Gandhi that influenced the making of the Constitution are:

1. Non-violence: Mahatma Gandhi believed in the principle of non-violence and advocated it as a means to achieve political and social goals. The Constitution of India also upholds this principle and guarantees the right to life and personal liberty to every citizen.

2. Equality: Mahatma Gandhi believed in the equality of all human beings, irrespective of their caste, creed, or religion. The Constitution of India also guarantees equality before law and prohibits discrimination on the basis of religion, caste, or gender.

3. Swaraj: Mahatma Gandhi believed in the concept of Swaraj or self-rule. He advocated for decentralization of power and empowering the people at the grassroots level. The Constitution of India also recognizes the importance of local self-government and provides for the establishment of Panchayats and Municipalities.

4. Fundamental Rights: Mahatma Gandhi believed in the protection of fundamental rights such as freedom of speech and expression, freedom of religion, and the right to education. The Constitution of India guarantees these rights to all citizens.

Thus, even though Mahatma Gandhi was not a member of the Constituent Assembly, his ideas and ideals were instrumental in shaping the Constitution of India.
