Simplify combining like terms: 3a – 2b – ab – (a &nd...
3a-2b-ab-(a-b+ab)+3ab+b-a
First let us open the bracket
3a-2b-ab-a+b-ab+3ab+b-a
Next we will combine like terms
3a-a-a-2b+b+b-ab-ab+3ab
=a+ab
In the first one (3a-a-a) it is simply 3a-1a-1a which would be equal to 1a which can be also written as a.
In the second one (-2b+b+b) it is simply -2b+1b+1b which would be 0 so we can cancel out this expression.
And in the last one (-ab-ab+3ab) it is simply -1ab-1ab+3ab which would be equal to 1ab which can also be written as ab.
So the answer is a+ab.
Hope you understood.
