Types of Soil in India and Crops Grown

Alluvial soil:
- Alluvial soil is the most widely found soil in India, primarily in the Indo-Gangetic plains.

Red soil:

- This soil is sandy and rich in iron oxide, giving it a reddish hue.

Laterite soil:
