Rakesh purchased a T.V. for Rs. 5000 and paid Rs. 250 for its transpor...
GIVEN:
CP of a TV = Rs. 5000
Transportation cost = Rs. 250
SP of a TV = Rs. 5075
FORMULA USED:
Total CP = Cost + Transportation cost
Loss% = (Loss/CP) × 100
CALCULATION:
Total cost price of T.V. after transportation = 5000 + 250 = 5250
S.P = 5075
Loss = 5250 – 5075 = 175
∴ Loss% = (175/5250) × 100
