D= [3(j + j) - re] + rr - m
where,
j = total number of rigid joints = 12
j' = total number of hybrid joints = 2
re = total number of external reactions
= 3+ 2 + 2 = 7
rr =  = (2 - 1) + (2 - 1) = 2
m = total number of axially rigid member = 9
∴ Dk = [3(12 + 2) - 7] + 2 - 9 = 35 - 7 = 28
