The Herd Reaches the Jungle

The story "The Herd" is about a group of animals who travel together to find a new home. The herd consists of various animals such as a deer, a monkey, a tortoise, a rabbit, and a bird. They face many challenges on their journey but finally, they reach the jungle.

What Happened to the Herd?

When the herd reached the jungle, they began to spread out. This is because each animal wanted to find a place that suited them best. For example, the deer wanted a place with lots of grass to eat, while the monkey wanted a place with lots of trees to climb. The tortoise wanted a place with a lot of shade, while the rabbit wanted a place with a lot of burrows to hide in.

As the animals spread out, they started exploring the jungle. They found many interesting things such as fruits and nuts to eat, and beautiful flowers to admire. However, as they explored, they realized that one of their members, Nandu the deer, was missing.

The Search for Nandu

The herd immediately started looking for Nandu. They searched high and low, calling out his name. Finally, they found him stuck in a thicket. They quickly helped him out, and he was grateful to them.

The Importance of Staying Together

After they found Nandu, the herd realized that it was important to stay together. They understood that they needed to help each other and look out for one another. They knew that they were stronger when they were together than when they were alone.

In Conclusion

When the herd reached the jungle, they spread out to find the best place for each animal. However, they realized the importance of staying together when one of their members, Nandu, went missing. They quickly found him and understood the importance of helping each other and staying together.
