FORMULA USED:
Speed = Distance/time
Time = Distance/Speed
CALCULATION:
Time (in hours) = 25/60 hr = 5/12 hr
Distance = Speed × Time
= 24 × 5/12
= 10 km
New time will be 20 minutes so,
Time = 20/60 = 1/3 hr
Now we know,
Speed = Distance/Time
= 10 × 3
= 30 km/hr
Alternate method:
Time changes from 25 min to 20 min
So speed must changes in inverse ratio i.e, 20 to 25
So 20 : 25 = 24 : x
Or x = 30 kmph
