And B's capital is rs.20000). At the end of the year, the total profit was rs.5000.

To calculate A's share of profit:
A's share = Total profit x (A's capital / Total capital)
A's share = 5000 x (30000 / 50000)
A's share = 5000 x 0.6
A's share = 3000

To calculate B's share of profit:
B's share = Total profit x (B's capital / Total capital)
B's share = 5000 x (20000 / 50000)
B's share = 5000 x 0.4
B's share = 2000

Therefore, A's share of profit is rs.3000 and B's share of profit is rs.2000.
