Conditions of the Advisis of India during Pre-Independence Era:

- Role of Advisis: During the pre-independence era, India was under British colonial rule. The British government appointed advisers to assist the Indian rulers and provide guidance on various matters. The advisers held significant power and influence over the Indian rulers and played a crucial role in shaping the policies and decisions of the Indian states.

- British Control: The advisers were primarily representatives of the British government and their main objective was to safeguard British interests in India. They ensured that the Indian rulers remained loyal to the British and followed policies that favored British control and exploitation of Indian resources.

- Economic Exploitation: The advisers played a key role in facilitating the economic exploitation of India. They encouraged the Indian rulers to adopt policies that favored British trade and industry, often at the expense of the local economy. The British government and their advisers imposed heavy taxes and tariffs on Indian goods, which crippled the Indian industries and led to widespread poverty and unemployment.

- Political Manipulation: The advisers also manipulated the political landscape of India to consolidate British control. They often meddled in the internal affairs of the Indian states, ensuring that the rulers remained dependent on British support and guidance. They controlled the appointment of key officials and used their influence to suppress any dissent or opposition to British rule.

- Social and Cultural Impact: The advisers played a significant role in shaping the social and cultural fabric of India. They promoted British education and customs while suppressing traditional Indian practices. This led to a loss of cultural identity and a sense of inferiority among the Indian population.

- Oppressive Regimes: In some cases, the advisers actively supported oppressive and tyrannical Indian rulers who were aligned with British interests. They tolerated and even encouraged human rights abuses, land grabbing, and other forms of exploitation by these rulers, as long as they remained loyal to the British government.

Conditions of the Advisis of India during Post-Independence Era:

- Role Transition: After India gained independence in 1947, the role of the advisers changed significantly. Their power and influence diminished as India became a sovereign nation. The Indian government took over the administration of the country, and the advisers were gradually phased out.

- Transition to Indian Control: The Indian government took steps to nationalize key sectors of the economy and regain control over Indian resources. This led to a reduction in the influence of foreign advisers and a shift towards policies that prioritized Indian interests.

- Focus on Development: The post-independence era saw a renewed focus on development and nation-building. The Indian government implemented various policies and initiatives to uplift the country and improve the living conditions of its citizens. The advisers, if present, were expected to support these efforts and provide expertise in areas such as economic planning, infrastructure development, and social welfare.

- Technical Assistance: In certain cases, foreign advisers continued to provide technical assistance and expertise in specialized fields where India lacked sufficient resources or expertise. However, their role was limited to advisory positions and they were expected to work in partnership with Indian counterparts.

- Shift towards Indigenous Expertise: As India developed its own pool of experts and professionals, the reliance on foreign
