If we throw a ball upwards so when the body will go upwards it velocity will be decreased or increased

If we throw a ball upwards so when the body will go upwards it velocit...
Effect of Throwing a Ball Upwards on its Velocity

  • Initial Velocity - When we throw a ball upwards, it has an initial velocity that is equal to the velocity with which we threw it. This velocity is in the upward direction.

  • Acceleration due to Gravity - As soon as the ball is thrown upwards, it starts to decelerate due to the force of gravity that is acting downwards. The acceleration due to gravity is a constant - 9.8 m/s^2.

  • Maximum Height - The ball will continue to decelerate until it reaches its maximum height. At this point, its velocity will be zero. The time taken to reach the maximum height depends on the initial velocity with which the ball was thrown.

  • Velocity at Maximum Height - At the maximum height, the velocity of the ball is zero. This is because it has come to a complete stop due to the gravitational force acting upon it. However, the velocity will not remain zero for long as the ball will start to fall back to the ground.

  • Velocity during Descent - As the ball falls back to the ground, it accelerates due to the force of gravity acting upon it. This acceleration is constant and is equal to 9.8 m/s^2. The velocity with which the ball falls increases as it gets closer to the ground.

  • Final Velocity - When the ball hits the ground, its velocity is maximum. This is because it has accelerated due to the force of gravity acting upon it. The final velocity depends on the height from which the ball was thrown and the acceleration due to gravity.

In conclusion, when we throw a ball upwards, its velocity decreases until it reaches its maximum height where it becomes zero. The velocity then starts to increase as the ball falls back to the ground due to the acceleration caused by gravity. The final velocity of the ball depends on the height from which it was thrown and the acceleration due to gravity.

If we throw a ball upwards so when the body will go upwards it velocit...
If a ball is thrown upwards ,then its velocity will decrease. The moment it reaches its maximum height,at that particular point of time ,it's velocity will turn to zero. While coming down, the ball will move in the direction of gravity, thus its velocity will increase due to the acceleration due to gravity(g). A moment before reaching the ground,it will have the maximum velocity. Finally, on reaching the ground it will have 0 velocity.
