Diary entry on a trip to Agra on a hot summer day
Dear Diary,
Today was an exciting and adventurous day as I embarked on a trip to Agra, a city famous for its architectural wonder, the Taj Mahal. However, the scorching heat of the summer sun made the journey quite challenging.
Departure
In the morning, I woke up early and prepared myself for the long day ahead. Our group gathered at the bus station, eagerly waiting for the bus to arrive. As the bus pulled up, the heat was already unbearable, and we were praying for a comfortable journey.
Journey
As we boarded the bus, we were relieved to find that the air conditioning was functioning properly. It provided some respite from the sweltering heat outside. The bus slowly started moving, and we embarked on our journey to Agra.
The roads were crowded, and the traffic seemed to be moving at a snail's pace. The sun was blazing, and the heat seemed to seep through the windows. Despite the air conditioning, the heat was still quite noticeable. We were all feeling sweaty and uncomfortable.
Refreshing stops
To break the monotony of the journey and provide some relief from the heat, the bus driver made a couple of refreshing stops at roadside dhabas. We got off the bus, stretched our legs, and enjoyed some cold drinks and refreshing snacks. The cool breeze under the shade of the trees was a welcome respite.
Arrival in Agra
After several hours of travel, we finally reached Agra. The sight of the magnificent Taj Mahal from a distance was breathtaking. Even though we were tired and exhausted from the journey, the anticipation of exploring this architectural marvel filled us with excitement.
Exploring Agra
We visited the Taj Mahal, the epitome of love, and marveled at its grandeur. The scorching heat did not deter us from exploring every nook and corner of this magnificent structure. The beautiful gardens surrounding the Taj Mahal provided some relief from the heat as we strolled through them.
Return journey
As the day came to an end, we bid farewell to Agra and boarded the bus for our return journey. The bus was now cooler than before, and we were grateful for the respite it provided. We reminisced about the memorable moments we had experienced throughout the day.
Conclusion
Although the hot summer day made the journey to Agra quite challenging, the beauty of the Taj Mahal and the joy of exploring this historical city made it all worthwhile. This trip will always remain etched in my memory as an unforgettable adventure.
Yours,

Diary entry on you went to agra in a bus on a hot summar day?
It was May
woke up before dawn and took the bus at
a.m. from Delhi bound for Agra. I met a newly married couple who belonged to Himachal Pradesh. We talked with one another and got off the bus. I entered the once grand city, Agra. I saw the dense traffic, numerous rickshaw pullers, cars, people and vendors selling religious artifacts, plastic toys, spices and sweets. I went to the Taj Mahal which is one of the seven wonders of the world. It was entirely of white marble and had a magical quality of colour changing with varying of light and shadow. The white marble of Taj Mahal has gemstones of multi coloured engraved in it. The reflection of the Taj Mahal could be seen in the pond. There were many tourists, school children and tourist guides.
