Taxonomy is the study of naming, comparing and sorting organisms which involve all the plants, animals and micro-organisms of the world."Carolus Linnaeus,"is named as ‘father of taxonomy’. He was the first person to formulate and adhere to a uniform system for defining and naming the world's plants and animals. He classified the organism on the basis of similarities and dissimilarities. His system for naming, ranking, and classifying organisms is still in wide use today.
