Atoms are made up of Electrons, protons and neutrons.

Explanation:
Atoms are the basic building blocks of matter. They are composed of three fundamental particles: electrons, protons, and neutrons. These particles are located in different regions of the atom and have different properties.

1. Electrons:
- Electrons are negatively charged particles.
- They are located outside the nucleus of an atom in specific energy levels or shells.
- Electrons are extremely lightweight compared to protons and neutrons.
- They have a negligible mass.

2. Protons:
- Protons are positively charged particles.
- They are located in the nucleus, which is the central part of the atom.
- Protons have a relative mass of 1.
- The number of protons determines the atomic number of an atom, which defines its identity.

3. Neutrons:
- Neutrons are electrically neutral particles.
- They are also located in the nucleus along with protons.
- Neutrons have a relative mass of 1.
- The number of neutrons can vary within the same element, resulting in different isotopes.

Neil Bohr's Model:
- Neil Bohr proposed a modified model of the atom to address the limitations of Rutherford's model.
- He suggested that electrons revolve around the nucleus in fixed energy levels or shells.
- Each shell has a specific energy associated with it, and electrons can jump between these energy levels by absorbing or emitting energy.
- The energy levels are represented by whole numbers (n=1,2,3,...), and each energy level can hold a maximum number of electrons.
- The first shell closest to the nucleus can hold a maximum of 2 electrons, the second shell can hold a maximum of 8 electrons, and so on.
- Electrons occupy the lowest available energy level first, following the Aufbau principle.

In summary, atoms are composed of electrons, protons, and neutrons. Electrons orbit the nucleus in specific energy levels, while protons and neutrons are located in the nucleus. Neil Bohr's model provided a better understanding of the arrangement of electrons in atoms and their behavior.
