3 Ω & 6 Ω are in parallel.

∴ R1 =  3 x 6 / 3 + 6 = 18/9 = 2


Now R1 and 8Ω in series

Now R2 and 30Ωin parallel



= 300/40 = 30/4 = 15 /2
