Given data:
Marked price = Rs. 1920
Discount = 10%
Gain = 8%

Calculating the selling price after discount:
Discount = 10% of Rs. 1920 = 0.10 x 1920 = Rs. 192
Selling price after discount = Marked price - Discount = Rs. 1920 - Rs. 192 = Rs. 1728

Calculating the cost price:
Let the cost price be Rs. x
Given that the shopkeeper gains 8%, so
Selling price = Cost price + 8% of Cost price
Rs. 1728 = x + 0.08x
Rs. 1728 = 1.08x
x = Rs. 1600

Calculating the selling price without discount:
If no discount is allowed, the selling price would be the marked price, which is Rs. 1920.

Calculating the gain percent without discount:
Profit = Selling price without discount - Cost price
Profit = Rs. 1920 - Rs. 1600 = Rs. 320
Gain percent = (Profit/Cost price) x 100
Gain percent = (320/1600) x 100 = 20%
Therefore, if no discount is allowed, the shopkeeper's gain percent would be 20%.
