Directions: Seven members of a family A, B, C, D, E, F and G were seated in a row facing the north. They were seated as per their savings in the descending order such that the person with the maximum savings was seated at the extreme left and so on. Each of them was related to A in some manner wife, mother, father, sister, brother and daughter not necessarily in the same order.
A's daughter had savings less than only one person
  • 3 persons had savings less than D but more than A's wife
  • A's wife was neighbouring E
  • G was A's mother who had savings more than A but less than B
  • Number of persons who had savings more than B was equal to the number of persons who had savings less than A's father. B had more savings than A's father
  • C does not have the maximum savings
  • G was not neighbouring A's daughter or brother.
  • F and C were of opposite genders and A did not have the least savings.

    Directions: Seven members of a family A, B, C, D, E, F and G were sea...
    A's daughter had savings less than only one person.
    3 persons had savings less than D but more than A's wife.
    Number of persons who had savings more than B was equal to the number of persons who had savings less than A's father. B had more savings than A's father.
    Also, A's wife was neighbouring E.
    C does not have the maximum savings.
    G was A's mother who had savings more than A but less than B. Thus, B > G > A.
    G was not neighbouring A's daughter or brother.
    So, case 1, 3 and 5 become invalid as, A cannot be placed in those arrangements.
    It is given that, A did not have the least savings, so, case 1 and 3 become invalid.
    Also, it is given that F and C are of opposite genders, so, Case 2 becomes invalid as, F and C cannot be sister and wife of A.
    Thus, the final arrangement is as follows:
    Among the given options only F had more savings than A's sister.
