∴ ∠A + ∠C = ∠B + ∠D = 180° …(i)
Also, 
∠A + ∠D = ∠B + ∠C = 180° …(ii) 
∴     ∠B = ∠C [using (i) and (ii)]
∵ ABCD is a trapezium having ∠C = ∠D
∴ ABCD should be an isosceles trapezium. 
⇒ AD = BC
