Due to climatic conditions or circumstances, people need to change their homes.4.The villages are rural settlement where people are engaged in agriculture, fishing, crafts works etc. Population here is less.Permanent settlement:1. • TEMPORARY SETTLEMENT - it is for a short period. For example, nomadic pastoralists do (Banjaras).
• PERMANENT SETTLEMENT - as the name suggests it is for life time or we can say permanent. Hence, it is known as permanent settlement.
